The Health Not Prisons (HNP) Collective Repeal Campaign

Today is the first day of our 11 Days of Action to pass the REPEAL HIV Discrimination Act of 2022, H.R. 6111!

If you -- as an individual or as an organization -- are in this fight with us, take and share the pledge today:

Pledge to fight for REPEAL!

Why eleven days? Representative Barbara Lee first introduced the REPEAL HIV Discrimination Act in 2011. It's still stuck in the U.S. House of Representatives ELEVEN YEARS LATER. Meanwhile people living with HIV are being subjected to state violence, discriminated against, policed, surveilled, and incarcerated.

We're done waiting. We’re going to be loudly advocating to finally pass the REPEAL HIV Discrimination Act, H.R. 6111 for the next eleven days -- one day for each year we've been waiting for Congress to act.

Ending HIV criminalization cannot wait. We need all our allies, partners, and accomplices to be reaching out to your representatives and advocating for the REPEAL Act. We will be sharing more tools and resources for advocates during the 11 days of action, so make sure you don’t miss a thing by signing up to receive updates from the Health Not Prisons Collective.

Pledge to fight for REPEAL

Together we can put an end to the stigma, discrimination, and suffering perpetuated by laws that criminalize people living with HIV simply for their status. #HIVIsNotACrime

So, what are you waiting for? Ready, set, REPEAL!
